May 19, 1993
The investment license of Phu My Hung JV Corporation was issued


Jul 1993
An international design competition for urban design was held and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM from San Francisco, USA) was chosen as the master planner, and some technical supports and consultancy inputs were from Koetter, Kim & Associates (Boston, USA) and Kenzo Tange Associates (Tokyo, Japan).

Dec 1994
Former Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet approved The Master Plan.
 
July 1996
Infrastructure work of Phu My Hung New City Center began.

Dec 1996
The first phase of Nguyen Van Linh Parkway broke the ground.

April 1997
Saigon South People-Founded School was granted the license. The Japanese School was also licensed and temporarily operated in the same campus with Saigon South School.

May 1997
The Master Plan won the Honor Award of the American Institute of Architects for the Best Urban Design.

August 1997
Saigon South International School (SSIS) started its first school year.

December 1997
The agreement to set up a Korean School in Phu My Hung was signed.

Feb 1998
The first phase of two lanes of Nguyen Van Linh Parkway inaugurated.

April 1998
The first housing project ”My Canh” completed.

May 2002
The construction of second phase of Nguyen Van Linh Parkway began (widening the parkway from 2 lanes to 4-6 lanes).

August  2002
Phu My Hung Corp. officially handed the Saigon South People-Founded school over to Ho Chi Minh City Education & Training Department.

Dec 2003
The second phase of Nguyen Van Linh Parkway and Lawrence S. Ting Building inaugurated.

Apr 2004
The construction of third phase of Nguyen Van Linh Parkway began (widening the parkway to full width of 120 meters).

Dec 2007
Nguyen Van Linh Parkway Completion (10-14 lanes). Ceremony was held and Phu My Hung Corporation was awarded “The First Grade Labor Medal” by the Central Government. 
Founders Mr. Lawrence S. Ting and Mr. Tsien Peng Lun, were both awarded “The Friendship Medal” posthumously by the Central Government of Vietnam.

March 2008
The lifestyle project, The Crescent, broke ground.

Jun 2008
Phu My Hung New City Center was awarded “The Model New City” by the Ministry of Construction, Vietnam.

October 2008
Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center’s fist hall opened.

Dec 2008
Phu My Hung re-registered as JV liability limited company pursuant to the new Law on Investment, dated November 29, 2005 and Law on Enterprise, dated September 21, 2006.

September 2008
The first school year of Lawrence S. Ting School.

October 17, 2009
Crescent Residence 1 inaugurated and started running. 

2010
Crescent Residence 3 and 2 inaugurated and started running.
